In these experiments, we recorded odor-evoked calcium responses in the antennal lobe of the clonal raider ant (Ooceraea biroi). Transgenic ants expressed GCaMP6s in olfactory sensory neurons, and the right antennal lobe was imaged using a two-photon microscope.
